How do I enable Preorder for my products ?
To enable Preorder, navigate to the Pre-orders settings and select products for your campaign.
Theme Activation: ensure the app is activated on your theme. and click save.
Product Selection: Select your desired products and enable Preorder in the app dashboard.
Why is the Preorder button not displaying on my product page ?
This may be due to theme compatibility or incomplete activation. Please verify that the app is properly enabled and the product is configured for Preorder.
How do I manage preorder payments ?
Our app supports multiple payment options for preorders:
Full payment upfront
Partial payment/deposit
Configure your preferred payment method in the Payment Settings section of your campaigns.
How do I track preorders in my store ?
You can easily track preorders in two ways:
In your Shopify Order dashboard, look for orders with the tag Dotsy Preorder
In the Orders section of our app, view a comprehensive list of all preorders with payment status and fulfillment information
This makes it simple to monitor preorder status and ensure timely fulfillment when items are in stock.
How do email notifications work for preorders ?
Email notifications for preorders are configurable:
Default Setting: Notifications are turned off by default to prevent customer spam
Enable Notifications: You can enable email notifications in the Settings page
Customization: Once enabled, you can customize email content directly in the app
